Good News for Palm Pre Owners and iTunes 9
If you are a Palm Pre owner and paid any attention to Apple's product announcement this past week, you know that the Pre's iTunes syncing ability is broken, once again. Of course, if you use The Missing Sync, you received the news with little concern.
The Missing Sync for Palm Pre continues to work with the latest version of iTunes, version 9.0, to let Pre owners sync music, ringtones and podcasts from a Mac to the new Palm Pre phone. Plus, you can sync contacts, calendars, photos and more.
Spread the news and let your friends with Palm Pre phones know that The Missing Sync can reliably keep their phone rockin' with tunes.

Tips for Shooting Better Pictures With Your Phone
Taking pictures with your mobile phone can be tricky. The most common problems are blurry photos and photos that are too dark to make out.
Here are some tips to help you make the most of your phone's photographic capabilities.
Keep your phone still.
When possible, help steady your body by siting on a chair or leaning against a wall. Hold your phone with both hands, with your elbows as close to your body as you can get them. Your photos will be much crisper. Additionally, you can try holding your breath for the split-second it takes to snap the picture.
Consider What You Are Photographing.
Most phone cameras do not do well in low light situations. Try to keep whatever, or whoever, you are photographing in bright light. Also, if your subject is wearing bright colors, photograph them against a darker background. If your subject is wearing dark clothing, place them in front of a lighter background. Contrast will help give your pictures better depth and definition.
Save Your Pictures.
Photos you snap are typically saved to your phone's internal storage, or to a removable memory card. The two concerns here are losing your phone, or the memory card. Or, if storage becomes full, you'll have to delete pictures in order to take new ones.
The Missing Sync makes it easy to save and backup your photos from your phone - BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Palm Pre and others - to your Mac or PC. On a Mac, you can save your pictures to iPhoto. On a PC, save your pictures into a folder you specify.

Geeking Out: Android Phone Invasion!
Since the launch of the T-Mobile G1, there's been buzz about more Android OS-based phones to come. And they are coming - soon, and in numbers.
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G made its debut recently. It sports a slightly slimmer form factor, comes in colors, and now includes a number of very useful apps that enhance the functionality of the phone: Visual Voicemail, Sherpa (Yelp-like app), Flixter (movie show times, reviews, etc.) and many others.
The HTC Hero will be available from Sprint this October, or so the rumors say. The Android touch interface is better realized with many improvements HTC has made to the basic Android UI. It feels and performs like a modern OS, on par with the iPhone and Palm Pre - and the redesigned graphical elements offer a polished and visually pleasing appearance.
And there are more Android OS phones coming this year, from HTC, Motorola, Samsung, LG and others. This fall we'll truly see an Android invasion.
